The Big Picture
Coming from I-80
Take either I-55 (exit #126 North) or Larkin Ave (exit #130 North) exit.
If you take I-55, get off at Weber Rd (exit #263) and head South to N. Carillon Dr. Turn WEST on N. Carillon Dr. (N. Carillon Dr is called Grand Blvd. as it goes East off Weber Rd)
If you take Larkin, proceed North. Larkin becomes Weber Rd.

We live in the gated community called Carillon which is shown on some maps as Links of Carillon Golf Club (South of I-55 and North of Taylor). Guests must enter thru the North gate on N. Carillon Dr. (N. Carillon Dr is called Grand Blvd. as it goes East off Weber Rd) Give the guard your name and tell him or her you are visiting Mr. Liming on Basswood.
Continue on around on Carillon Drive. Each "community" has its own name. Our's is "Dover". You'll see a "Dover" sign at Ironwood Dr. and at Tamarack. Turn right on Tamarack. The first street to the right is Basswood and we are the corner house on the right. You may find parking easier on Tamarack.

Make your way to I-55 and Weber Rd and then go to "Getting Close" above.
By the way, 111th and 119th are both good roads to cross over from Rt. 59. Pay attention to the landmarks when you reach Weber Road because when you go to return home, neither street goes by the same name as it runs off of Weber. You have to love cities who like to be individualistic and mess everyone up.
